The Psalms 23
The LORD Is My ShepherdA Psalm of David.
1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil;my cup runneth over.6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
1. having a sense of the beautiful; characterized by a love of beauty.
2.pertaining to, involving, or concerned with pure emotion and sensation as opposed to pure intellectuality.
The Aesthetic Arts Movement emphasized aesthetic values over moral or social themes in literature, fine art, etc. Basically saying, art shouldn't be intellectualized, it doesn't even have to make sense. It should however be a personal expression of ones inner feelings and emotions. My personal outlet of artistic expression is through my music and my pen.
Writing for me is not a want but a need
From the pen my soul bleeds
Out of my heart I plant these seeds
And I believe in
The words I conceive
And I don't do it 2 receive
Recognition or glory
